The Xi is a a unmistakable pair of twisting new development condo towers on the far west side of Manhattan.
The project seemed to have everything going for it: a one-of-a-kind Hudson River location adjacent to the High Line, a team including architect Bjarje Ingels not short on vision, and an ambitious plan to build something in no way ordinary. With condos, retail, and rich amenities, this should be a standout project with buyers eager to scoop up units.
Unfortunately, construction of the towers was halted in 2020 and the developer, HFZ Capital Group, has yet to announce a revised timetable for its completion.

Originally commissioned by HFZ in 2015, The XI has 235 condos designed by Gilles & Boissier and Gabellini Sheppard with asking prices from $2.35M up to $65M.

Curated and managed by Six Senses, the 18,000 square feet of amenities offer state-of-the-art fitness and wellness facilities, including a 75-foot glass-enclosed sunlit swimming pool with cabanas and a hot tub.
