Marketproof strives to make real estate information easily accessible and sharable. If you are a real estate professional, this video is for you. We’re here to help you become more efficient and even better at what you do.

Today, I will show you how to create and share a Building Report using the Marketing Center.

Under Reports is the “Building Report” template. Once you click “Preview & Customize,” it will ask you for a building to create the report on, which you can search for any of the new development, condo, or co-op buildings.

For this example, I will create a report on 11 Hoyt Street in Downtown Brooklyn, one of NYC’s most successful new development projects. I’ve chosen 11 Hoyt for this video because, as of the time of this recording, it is nearly sold out and has already had a good number of resales.

A building report will automatically be created once I have 11 Hoyt Street entered.

Each page tells a different story about the building. The first page summarizes key information, including the number of units, key dates, prices, amenities, and a written description.

The second page is the building analysis. Here, you’ll see the pricing overview, sales progress, written summary, highly visual charts showing unit mix and the average asking prices, and a table showing recent closings.

The third and fourth pages provide essential information about the surrounding neighborhood. The third page analyzes the neighborhood’s contract activity, with a captivating chart showcasing the number of contracts signed over time broken down by new development, condo, and co-op.

The fourth page details the neighborhood’s average price per square foot. A chart showcases the prices over time, separated by new development, condo, and co-op.

Your building report is good to download and go if you like how it is. However, you can do much more to personalize it.

On the top, we have this bar with several sections to customize. First is Brand. Here, you can upload your logo and add your contact information to have it on your report. With themes, you can customize the look of your report. We have a variety of predefined themes to choose from. If you click on Custom Options, you can customize it even further by choosing the font style of either Bold or Elegant. Then, you can change the color scheme and pick a specific color for every aspect of your report, including the accent, text, and background.

With Date, you can choose the time range you want your report to be. There are many different options, including a custom time range.

Your report is written automatically, and you can edit it by clicking “Copy.”

Once you are satisfied with your report, click “Download Report. ” This will save your building report as a PDF, which you can use anywhere else.

Now, let me show you what you can do with your building report. One is a simple and effective way, which is your email. For example, you can send the report to your client to provide insights on the building and the surrounding area. In Gmail, just add a quick note and attach the PDF. Now, your email will have your building report as an attachment for your client to view and download. And for yourself, why not print out copies of your report for your next presentation? It’ll help showcase the building’s analytics cleanly and professionally.

With that, you now have a customized building report made in a few minutes as part of your sales, marketing, or research with some examples of how to use it.
